UTemp is a talent pool that provides the University of Toronto with a diverse range of skilled short-term staff to cover casual vacancies. Our team takes a hands-on approach to ensure we find the best candidate for each project. We strive to create long-lasting relationships by finding individuals with strong office skills and a flexible work ethic.

Key Skills & Experience

We are looking for knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastic candidates with demonstrated abilities to learn new skills quickly. Ideal candidates have strong administrative skills, experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and other desirable programs. Previous work experience in a college or university environment, government, non-profit, or the private sector is highly valued.

Requirements

  • Variable education, as we prioritize work history.
  • Three plus years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly with minimal training.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach to work.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties independently and carry out projects of varying complexity.

Locations

UTemp offers short-term contracts at one or all four of our locations. Please indicate your preferred locations on your application.
