POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Evaluate project proposals and establish suitable accounting methodologies.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis, preparation, and presentation of project expenditures.
  • Generate and record monthly journal entries for all financial transactions leading to the financial reports.
  • Execute account analysis and monthly reconciliations of essential Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Assess ongoing projects and finalize asset setups upon project conclusion.
  • Detect, analyze, and rectify discrepancies in information, recommending adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure that the financial data generation process adheres to relevant internal control (SOX) standards.
  • Address complex accounting issues in collaboration with the accounting policy team.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for process enhancements and implement chosen solutions.
  • Respond to inquiries from auditors and internal reviewers effectively.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Professional accounting designation such as CFA, CPA (CA/CMA/CGA) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in relevant financial positions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to apply financial principles and theories practically.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Skill in managing conflicting timelines and requirements while prioritizing tasks.
