We are excited to announce a permanent, part-time opportunity for a Clinical Dietitian with Interior Health Authority. This role involves working within long-term care facilities that prioritize a resident-centered approach, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

The Clinical Dietitian will provide essential nutrition care and support to patients and residents across multiple sites. The working hours are flexible and will be arranged with the successful candidate. A valid College of Dietitians of BC Restricted Activity A is required for this position.

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for conducting thorough nutrition screenings and assessments based on established standards and guidelines, as well as relevant biochemical, anthropometric, and dietary data. Following the assessment, the Dietitian will develop and implement personalized nutrition goals and care plans. They will prescribe appropriate diets and effectively communicate the nutrition care plan and objectives to the multidisciplinary team, including Food Services Staff when necessary. Continuous evaluation and adaptation of the nutrition care plan will be conducted by monitoring relevant parameters. The Dietitian will also educate clients and their families on the rationale and implementation of the nutrition care plan, serving as a vital resource for the multidisciplinary teams and other health professionals.
