We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at McKinney Place and Sunnybank Centre in Oliver, British Columbia. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition care and support to patients and residents in our long-term care homes.

About the Role:

This is a permanent, part-time position that requires flexibility in terms of days and hours. The successful candidate will work in both long-term care sites, utilizing clinical techniques and knowledge to conduct nutrition screening and assessment, develop and implement client-centered nutrition goals and care plans, and prescribe diets as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nutrition screening and assessment using established standards and guidelines
  • Develop and implement client-centered nutrition goals and care plans
  • Prescribe diets as appropriate and communicate nutrition care plans and goals to the program/multidisciplinary team
  • Evaluate and adapt the nutrition care plan by monitoring biochemical, anthropometric, and dietary parameters
  • Educate clients/families regarding the rationale and mechanics of the nutrition care plan
  • Act as a resource person to the multidisciplinary/program teams and other health professionals

New Rate as of April 1, 2024 will be $40.75 to $50.87.
