Contract Professor of Radiological Technology

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Contract Assistant Professor to join our team at University Health Network. As a Contract Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for teaching assigned laboratory/practical/simulation sessions, marking and assessing student work, and providing guidance and advisement to students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach assigned laboratory/practical/simulation sessions, including online course delivery, to students in the Radiological Technology program.
- Mark and assess student work, including examinations, and provide feedback to students.
- Provide guidance and advisement to students, as required, to support their academic success.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment strategies to ensure high-quality education.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the Academic Chair to ensure the delivery of a high-quality educational experience.
- Participate in program evaluation and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Radiological Technology; Bachelor's degree would be considered an asset.
- 3 to 5 years' demonstrated clinical experience and currency in the field of Radiological Technology, including experience in CT, General Radiography, and Venipuncture.
- Maintains registration in good standing with the CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario).
- Fluency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Current membership with CAMRT (Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists) considered an asset.
