Middleware Administrator Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Middleware Administrator to support project work and ongoing business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer SharePoint 2019 and perform system administration and configuration tasks for implementations and support.
  • Install, maintain, and document middleware applications.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience deploying and administering MS SharePoint farms.
  • Experience upgrading and migrating SP 2013 to 2016 or 2019.
  • Knowledge of networking, including creating firewalls, security zones, and encryption.
  • Experience with Internet Information Server (IIS) and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Working knowledge of middleware integration technologies.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Deploying and administering Liferay DXP.
  • Familiarity with Java application servers (Websphere and Tomcat).
  • Demonstrated success in systems administration or application delivery roles.
  • Experience with Dynatrace monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Experience with IPswitch MoveIT and SAP Business Objects 4.2 and above.

Assignment Details:

ASAP start, 12 months duration, hybrid work arrangement in Toronto, ON.
