About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Merivale Noodle House. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create new and innovative menu items that showcase our culinary expertise and appeal to our customers.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary ingredients to meet customer demand.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior chef role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license.
