Water Canada is a prominent environmental consultancy, currently looking for a Safety Writing Scientist to enhance our operations.

  • Engage in innovative projects alongside a varied group of specialists in toxicology, biology, risk assessment, and environmental engineering.

  • Participate in initiatives across multiple sectors, including water quality assessment, environmental impact evaluations, and risk analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute water quality monitoring strategies for projects in British Columbia and Western Canada.
  • Provide guidance to project teams throughout all phases of the project.
  • Ensure rigorous quality control during data collection and analysis.
  • Effectively communicate scientific results to a variety of audiences.
  • Facilitate client interactions with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, toxicology, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification as a Registered Professional Biologist.
  • Proven project management and leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of water quality standards and environmental assessment protocols.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a commitment to health and safety practices.
