  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence of incidents and non-conformities.
  • Support Operations with R&D requirements when issues arise in quality of products and when change is needed in operations for a new product development.
  • Develop and deliver EHSQ training programs that include any other certification programs within the operations (e.g., SGP, 5S, FSC & SFI) to enhance awareness and competency among employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Handles on-going management and maintenance of QMS & EHS Documentation.
  • Supporting sustainability reporting obligations for financial and reporting purposes including client report requests from an operations perspective, contributing to corporate sustainability, collaborating with other functions on ESG requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, oversee regulatory inspections, and ensure timely submission of reports and permits.
  • Analyze EHSQ performance data, metrics, and trends to develop reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Develop and report on KPI’s (e.g. waste, errors).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Expert knowledge of EHS regulations for Canada, quality management systems, and environmental management systems.
  • Experience in leading EHS audits, inspections, incident investigations, and implementing CAPAs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve EHSQ performance.
