We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Podollan Grande Prairie Inn & Spa Inc.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for administering massage techniques, conducting client assessments, and providing treatment plans to promote relaxation and wellness. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of soft tissue manipulation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced spa environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint pain mobilization.
- Conduct client assessments, including range of motion and muscle tests, to determine treatment plans.
- Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients, ensuring they are fully informed and comfortable with treatment.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments given, including client information and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other spa professionals to provide a comprehensive wellness experience for clients.
- Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a spa or wellness environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
