About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Pacific Poke. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Kitchen Operations: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Staff Training and Supervision: Train kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation, cooking, and handling, and supervise kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Work Environment: Be willing to relocate and have relocation costs covered by the employer.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
