Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Appliance Servicer to join our team at Boulder Mountain Resort Ltd. As an Electrical Appliance Servicer, you will be responsible for conducting tests, preparing estimates, and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting Tests: Use electrical test equipment to conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests to diagnose faults and identify areas for repair.
  • Preparing Estimates: Create written estimates of repair costs for customers, taking into account the complexity of the repair and the cost of replacement parts.
  • Repairing Appliances: Use schematic drawings and product manuals to repair electrical appliances and components, replacing faulty parts as needed.
  • Diagnosing Faults: Use testing devices to diagnose faults and identify the root cause of the problem.
  • Advising Customers: Provide customers with detailed information about the work performed and the condition of their equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical appliance repair or a related field.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The work language is English.
