Electrical Appliance Servicer Job Description

Boulder Mountain Resort Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Appliance Servicer to join our team. As an Electrical Appliance Servicer, you will be responsible for conducting voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment, preparing written estimates of repair costs, and referring to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough electrical tests to diagnose faults and identify areas for repair
  • Prepare detailed estimates of repair costs for customers
  • Use schematic drawings and product manuals to repair electrical appliances and components
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults using testing devices
  • Advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment
  • Work with shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical appliance repair
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
