Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers through direct service, installation, and maintenance of our equipment.
  • Assist customers in using our solutions, including training and troubleshooting.
  • Repair, calibrate, and install equipment at customer sites, as well as rebuild used equipment for resale.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and verify exchange parts for return to the head office.
  • Plan and coordinate workshop and field service calls with sales representatives.
  • Register service cases and report travel schedules.
  • Update databases and produce weekly reports on repairs and trips.
  • Prepare equipment for demonstrations and visits to client sites and optical shows.
Requirements
  • College degree in Electromechanical or related field, with optical knowledge an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical services, with network and IT knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a valid driving license in the province of employment.
  • Able to lift up to 35 kg (75 pounds) and work flexible hours, including frequent travel with overnight stays.
