About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Partner Manager to join our team in Sudbury, Canada. As a key member of our Information & Operational Technology team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with our North Atlantic operations.

Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the link between the information technology function and the North Atlantic operations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. You will work closely with our mining and processing operations to develop business cases, identify and prioritize IT/OT solutions, and manage the demand intake process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain deep relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities
  • Develop and implement IT/OT roadmaps to support business objectives
  • Manage IT/OT budgets and financial processes to ensure transparency and alignment with business needs
  • Collaborate with other IT BPs to ensure integrated support functions roadmaps
  • Oversee the delivery of IT services in North Atlantic, ensuring alignment with the VBM IT/OT strategic plan

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced IT professional with a strong background in mining or similar heavy industry experience. You should have a deep understanding of business processes and operations in the mining and metals industry.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in mining or similar heavy industry
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to align IT initiatives with business strategies and goals
