Job Overview
The Audiologist operates as a member of a multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team, reporting to the Client Services Manager - Rehabilitation Services. The incumbent plans, delivers, and evaluates hearing services for various populations, including infants, preschoolers, school-age children, and adults. Additionally, the Audiologist provides consultative public, parent, and caregiver education and training services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Audiology is preferred.
- A Master's Degree in Audiology from an accredited post-secondary institution is required.
- Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba is necessary.
- Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada is required.
Key Qualifications
- Skilled ability in assessing, identifying, and treating clients of varying ages and with diverse diagnoses.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal.
Physical Demands
- The Audiologist must be in good physical and mental health and able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods without resting.
- The Audiologist must be able to work under stress and time constraints.
