Junior Disability Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Disability Case Manager to play a critical role in analyzing and monitoring medical management to implement goal-oriented rehabilitation plans for short-term disability claimants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of short-term disability claims to ensure accurate and timely determinations.
  • Provide technical direction by reviewing and identifying file development needs to ensure seamless case management.
  • Identify, obtain, and analyze key medical, contractual, and eligibility information to inform disability benefit eligibility decisions.
  • Develop and implement case management plans that identify direction, issues, and action plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Review group contract provisions and submit medical information to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies when assessing disability benefit eligibility.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in disability claims with a strong understanding of medical terminology, medical management, and pharmacology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
