Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist II plays a crucial role in fostering and sustaining partnerships with Hiring Managers while overseeing the comprehensive requisition lifecycle. This includes requisition initiation, candidate sourcing, onboarding processes, worker assignment oversight, time and expense management, offboarding, and reporting. The Specialist serves as a strategic talent advisor, guiding clients through the requisition fulfillment journey to ensure timely acquisition of high-quality talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support PMO roadmap and AGS Way initiatives.
  • Engage in client meetings to discuss and evaluate strategic initiatives.
  • Assist client managers throughout the contract labor acquisition process, including requisition initiation, sourcing, and candidate evaluation.
  • Exhibit recruitment expertise by formulating insightful questions tailored to the position before conducting requirement intake sessions with hiring managers, ensuring comprehensive job descriptions are developed for distribution.
  • Record requirement intake discussions in the appropriate databases (VMS, AGS360).
  • Utilize reporting tools to manage open requisitions, advising managers on status and monitoring supplier sourcing strategies for timely responses.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to establish expectations, timelines, feedback mechanisms, and roles within the requisition fulfillment process.
  • Guide and oversee the performance of staffing suppliers involved in the process.
  • Document all reported issues from clients and suppliers, tracking resolutions to ensure high customer satisfaction in the CRM system.
  • Monitor performance against contractual SLAs, requisition aging, invoicing, time and expense entries, and vendor compliance.
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews, including discussions on metrics adherence and strategic conversations.
  • Maintain and update monthly activity and performance reports.
  • Assist in the creation of presentations and customer-facing materials (QBRs, operational reviews, dashboard reviews, etc.) with leadership support.
  • Engage consistently with clients, staffing vendors, contract personnel, and other partners through various communication channels.
  • Support worker assignment management, including cost center changes and contract extensions, to enhance data integrity.
  • Coordinate with managers, vendors, and security to ensure all necessary documentation is completed prior to and upon the conclusion of assignments.
  • Ensure accurate closure of work orders in the system with appropriate finish reasons and notify relevant departments.
  • Assist in the retrieval of company assets from vendors.
  • Monitor time and expense entries to ensure timely approvals by hiring managers.
  • Maintain regular communication with vendors to facilitate the timely completion of new hire paperwork, preventing onboarding delays.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-volume coordination activities such as interviewing and onboarding.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the recruiting or staffing industry is preferred.
  • Client-facing experience with hiring managers and suppliers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong documentation and follow-up capabilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general PC skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision for core responsibilities.
  • Medium level of guidance required for advanced tasks.
  • Customer-focused approach.
