About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Chef to join our team at Great Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Recruitment: Recruit and hire staff to support the growth and development of the kitchen team.
  • Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets to meet the needs of our customers and promote the Great Pizza brand.
