About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at NBC. As a key member of our DevOps squad, you will play a critical role in innovating and developing new ways to integrate data into our assets, ensuring their availability and reliability in production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the primary point of contact between internal consumers and our team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Investigate and analyze data anomalies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Optimize data processing and make corrections to our production environments, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Interpret and correct functional analysis files, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Participate in efforts to automate our work methods and processes, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Diagnose problems and solve issues, ensuring that solutions are permanent and support continuous improvement.
  • Respond and take action as a Level 2 expert in the event of asset incidents, providing timely and effective support.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in supporting and maintaining IT tools and environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Business Technology Management, or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, and data analysis.
  • Experience manipulating and using databases, as well as managing cloud operations (AWS).
  • Knowledge of ETL (DataStage), microservice & API (Java) processing tools, automated deployment (Jenkins), and code versioning (Git).
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodology, as well as DevOps and continuous integration practices.
Language

The primary language for this role is English, with proficiency in French also required.
