Job Title: Short Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Short Haul Truck Driver to join our team at A&B Concrete Pumping (2007) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Inspect and maintain the vehicle's condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Valid driver's abstract
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
