Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

New-Way Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Load and unload cargo at designated locations, ensuring that all goods are properly secured and protected.
  • Maintain Vehicle: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, performing any necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all cargo is delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The typical work week is 45 hours.
