Senior Product Leader - Technical, External Services, Trusted Advisor

The AWS Trusted Advisor sets the benchmark for excellence in cloud application development. Our AI-driven optimization platform utilizes extensive AWS experience to proactively identify risks and opportunities, enhancing security, resilience, performance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence for our customers. We deliver actionable insights to help clients mitigate risks and seize opportunities. For those seeking direct assistance, Trusted Advisor connects them with AWS specialists. We are in search of a Product Leader to guide the next phase of Trusted Advisor's evolution. This individual will advance our AI-driven engine to reveal best practices that have not yet been documented, utilizing the vast configuration and health data available across AWS. This leader will also spearhead the creation of automation solutions that address customer issues with minimal human involvement, while ensuring robust safety measures to safeguard customer interests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a product vision and execution strategy for the next-generation Trusted Advisor optimization engine.
- Interact with customers through various channels to continuously gauge their needs and feedback on our product, identifying gaps and opportunities.
- Collaborate across AWS services and customer account teams to enhance the delivery of trusted guidance for optimizing AWS workloads.
- Partner with engineering teams to define and implement the product roadmap.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance and diligently work to enhance them.
- Provide clear and effective updates on products and key initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders.

About the Team:
Trusted Advisor is an integral part of AWS' Cloud Optimization product suite. We collaborate with our colleagues in AWS Health to ensure our customers architect, build, and operate their systems optimally within AWS. As part of AWS Support, we serve all AWS customers, from free-tier users to large enterprises. We work alongside all AWS service teams to embody best practices in their offerings and provide constructive feedback to enhance their service development.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in technical product management within the internet sector.
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
- 3+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
- Proven track record of guiding a product from conception through engineering design to market launch.
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to market entry.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with engineering practices and methodologies across the full software/hardware/network development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and operational management.
- Experience working within teams to deliver software products and features using agile methodologies.
