Job Title: Virtual Team Leader

As a Virtual Team Leader at Scotiabank, you will be responsible for leading a team of software developers in the implementation and maintenance of complete technology solutions for projects supporting highly complex on-premises and Cloud-based platforms and applications with complex network integration needs across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain technology solutions for projects supporting complex on-premises and Cloud-based platforms and applications.
  • Lead a team of software developers in the implementation and maintenance of technology solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with members of the cyber security engineering, red team, and development team to align content strategy with project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guidelines, configuration and troubleshooting documents, executive reports, and user-friendly dashboards to support cyber security engineering projects.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in microservice implementation using Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Gradle, NodeJS, Restful APIs, Cloud SQL, and Kafka.
  • 5 years of experience in integration and configuration with SaaS platforms, preferably Auth0 (Okta CIC)/ForgeRock, and having a deep understanding of authentication and its protocols (OIDC, SAML, OAuth) and PKI.
  • 5 years of experience in automating deployment processes and working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Google Cloud Deployment, etc.).
  • Experience in messaging queues and event hubs.
