About the Role

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire Rating Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our business analysis team, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating user acceptance testing, working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, and analyzing system and functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop clear, concise documentation
  • Analyze system and functional specifications to identify business needs and translate them into actionable requirements
  • Facilitate joint application design (JAD) sessions with business users and development teams to drive out detailed business requirements
  • Develop requirements documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, data flows, and report mock-ups
  • Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations
  • Build strong relationships within the business units and support functions to understand business needs
  • Work with project collaborators to help the team understand risks, dependencies, and opportunities
Requirements
  • Advanced experience with Rating and Guidewire Policy Center/Billing Center
  • Experienced Product Consultant with 5-7 years of demonstrated ability in business analysis and software implementation
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to all audiences verbally and in writing
  • Experience working in the P&C domain
  • Hands-on experience writing user stories and conducting requirement workshops
  • Experienced with Agile SCRUM methodology and business analysis methodologies
