About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team at ML6 Search + Talent Advisory. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with existing and potential customers in the Lower Mainland, interior of BC, and Vancouver Island.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, preferably in Instrumentation Engineering Technology or a related field. You will enjoy traveling (around 50% of a working week) to customer sites to provide solutions, close sales, and expand business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present technical presentations to customers
  • Work independently to cultivate and foster business growth in the territory
  • Utilize CRM for scheduling, opportunities, and project management
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Manufacturer Regional Managers to promote products
  • Travel overnight to out of town accounts
  • Develop relationships within the territory
  • Perform other sales and service-related tasks as necessary
Requirements
  • Qualification such as an IET or greater
  • Dynamic personality with excellent social skills and networking abilities
  • Experience with flow and analytical instrumentation a strong asset
  • Existing network within industrial customers in the territory
  • Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of outside sales experience
