Pharmacy Manager Position

As a valued member of the Save-On-Foods team, our pharmacy teams are dedicated to delivering quality, patient-centred care to our customers and communities. We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Manager to join our team at our Jagare location in Edmonton, AB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day pharmacy dispensary operations, including receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
  • Provide clinical leadership, including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community partners to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Manage inventory, team member scheduling, training, and performance.
  • Identify business strengths and patient needs, developing and implementing growth strategies and plans.
  • Enforce policies and best practice protocols related to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
  • Complete all licensee tasks as dictated by the College of Pharmacy in your province.
  • Follow and enforce Save-On-Foods' SOPs.
  • Communicate with the Regional Pharmacy Manager to optimize efficiencies and workflow.

Requirements:

  • Canadian Pharmacist license in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience (SK) or pharmacy management experience (AB).
  • Fluency with Opioid Agonist Treatment Compliance procedures.
  • Injection Certification.
