Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Life Insurance Broker to join our team at Unistar Insurance. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of business, with a focus on profitable growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of business, with a focus on profitable growth and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to business retention activities, including maintaining client relationships, providing professional advice, and presenting recommendations and options to clients.
  • Identify and develop new business prospects, and contribute to new business activities, including sales planning, lead generation, and client acquisition.
  • Manage a portfolio of business, with a particular emphasis on profitable growth, and contribute to business retention activities.
  • Act on behalf of clients in the settlement of claims, ensuring timely and favorable settlement.
Requirements
  • Insurance licensed, in good standing with required continuing education (CE) hours.
  • Minimum 3 years life insurance experience, with commercial and personal lines experience also considered an asset.
  • CAIB and industry-related designations are considered a strong asset.
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
