Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Life Insurance Broker to join our team at Unistar Insurance. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of business, with a focus on profitable growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of business, with a focus on profitable growth and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to business retention activities, including maintaining client relationships, providing professional advice, and presenting recommendations and options to clients.
  • Identify and develop new business prospects, and contribute to new business activities, including gathering underwriting information, preparing requests for quotes, and preparing proposals and recommendations for clients.
  • Work effectively with team members and insurers to accomplish organizational goals, and contribute to the development of client revenue budgets.
  • Monitor and develop the skills of junior staff, and take actions that respect the needs and contributions of others.
Requirements
  • Insurance licensed, in good standing with required continuing education (CE) hours.
  • Minimum 3 years life insurance experience, with commercial and personal lines experience also considered an asset.
  • CAIB and industry-related designations are considered a strong asset.
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
