Job Overview

Ikos Property Maintenance Inc is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our cleaning operations. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Training: Hire and train cleaning personnel or coordinate training sessions to ensure staff are well-prepared.
  • Supervision: Direct and manage the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgetary allocations and cost estimates for cleaning services.
  • Service Recommendations: Identify and suggest additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or equipment replacements as needed.
  • Support Staff: Assist cleaning staff in their duties to ensure a collaborative work environment.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and implement work schedules for cleaning personnel.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Certifications: Aerial lift and aerial work platform certification, along with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 35 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
