Job Summary

International Education Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Career Services Associate to join our team. As a Career Services Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the Career Services department in maintaining accurate and complete records of extern students, active extern employers, and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the collection and completion of extern timesheets, ensuring completeness of employer paperwork and policies.
  • Act as a liaison between Career Services and Education Department for Last Day of Attendance reports and Initial Site Visit calendar.
  • Work with Career Services staff to ensure extern sites have all necessary paperwork updated and filed in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare and coordinate Senior Day/Extern Orientations, including visuals and presentations, and ensure maintenance of all packets, post-assessments, and checklists.
  • Assist the Director of Career Services in obtaining externship data for reporting purposes and managing the ECPP population.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards and adhere to all state and federal accreditation and institute rules and regulations regarding externship compliance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, required; Associate Degree, preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the Student and Extern life cycle within a school setting and/or the Career Services externship process.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, including superior problem-solving, organization, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work with people from a variety of diverse social and economic backgrounds.
  • Ability to professionally represent the campus in the employment community.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
  • High energy, assertive, results-driven, and highly ethical.
  • Computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel a must.
