About the Role

Dawson Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent of Civil to lead our construction projects and ensure their successful completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of civil construction, including safety, quality, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to pipe foremen and crews
  • Ensure compliance with Master Municipal Construction Documents (MMCD)
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to meet schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions
  • Review and adhere to project schedules and ensure milestones are met
  • Oversee the performance of sub-contractors and ensure work is completed accurately
  • Read and interpret project plans and specifications
  • Recommend ways to improve production, quality, and crew performance

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role in civil construction, engineering, or related discipline
  • Clean Drivers Abstract required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently
