Job Title: Food Service Attendant

Cafe JEG Ruest Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Food Service Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Overtime required during peak periods.
  • Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability:
  • Client focus and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • French language proficiency required.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week, permanent position.
