Job Title: Food Service Attendant

Cafe JEG Ruest Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Food Service Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our cafe staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with overtime required. You must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
