Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Handi's Convenience. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure that our store has the right team in place to deliver excellent customer service.
- Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that our store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers and ensure that our store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
- Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that we are not overstocking or understocking.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our staff to ensure that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
