Overview

Service Inspired Restaurants is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Red's Wine Tavern. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving sales growth, and leading a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in creating a unique dining experience that combines great service with culinary quality and excellence.
  • Inspire team members to achieve industry-wide recognition for meeting the tastes and needs of our guests.
  • Help the General Manager to coach and lead team members, providing great training and support.
  • Manage financials and work to achieve and exceed established goals.
  • Live and teach Service Inspired Values and Promises.
  • Use strong time management skills and attention to detail to complete tasks.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Culinary or Hospitality Management is an asset.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in a high-level hospitality environment.
  • MUST have Smart Serve and Food Handler's certification.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactivity, assertiveness, and sense of urgency in driving to reach goals.
  • Risk-taker and someone who focuses on future goals.
  • Ability to operate with flexibility.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits is an asset.
