Assistant General Manager Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team at The Canadian Brewhouse. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee departmental managers and hourly employees, providing guidance, coaching, and leadership
  • Conduct weekly manager meetings to ensure effective communication across all levels
  • Regularly provide feedback and recognition to team members
  • Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and training for new employees and managers
  • Embody The Canadian Brewhouse values and culture
  • Ensure the interior and exterior of the building meets the highest standards
  • Manage payroll, place orders, create schedules, track fundraisers, and perform other weekly office duties
  • Review and maintain safety, sanitation, and food-safe practices
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate in-house and outside events
  • Predict and analyze industry trends, budgets, purchasing, and labor
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of business management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Hospitality or Food and Beverage industry experience is considered an asset
  • Proven strategic problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of financial tools, including P&L, COGs, Inventory, etc.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively
  • Personal organization and time management skills
