We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As a Psychologist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Canadians, working with diverse client groups and implementing innovative mental health programs.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your psychological competencies as a trusted subject-matter expert, applying evidence-based and process expertise to meaningful step-care mental health programs across the mental health continuum. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physiotherapy, kinesiology, occupational therapy, and vocational rehab specialists, to provide top-quality whole-person care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new mental health program content for various client groups
  • Leverage novel approaches to the delivery of mental health services, including adjunct digital therapeutics
  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide evidence-based treatments for adults
  • Consult with other mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to in-house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions
  • Participate in program outcome evaluations at the provincial and national level
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (Adult: Clinical, Rehabilitation and/or Neuropsychology)
  • Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment
