About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Fine Finish Painting and Renovations Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a professional finish.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
  • Wall Covering Installation: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  • Customer Service: Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, and provide expert guidance on painting and decorating techniques.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure a professional finish.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling, for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the painting and decorating industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
