Job Summary
We are seeking a highly energetic and reliable Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading lumber and materials, as well as delivering loads to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading lumber and materials from our fleet of vehicles.
- Delivery Operations: Safely deliver loads to customer sites, adhering to all safety and traffic laws.
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are well-maintained.
Requirements
- Saskatchewan Driver's Licence: Possess a valid Saskatchewan driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Commercial Vehicle Experience: Have at least 6 months of experience driving a commercial vehicle.
- Manual Transmission: Be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
- Lifting Ability: Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with Regina and Surrounding Areas: Be familiar with the Regina and surrounding areas.
- Class 3 or 1A with Airbrake Endorsement: Possess a Class 3 or 1A driver's licence with an airbrake endorsement (an asset).
- Forklift Certification: Hold a valid forklift certification (an asset).
- Familiarity with Building Materials and Lumber: Have a basic understanding of building materials and lumber (an asset).
