Job Summary

Hunter Amenities International is seeking a highly skilled QC/QA Chemist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze samples, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Control and maintain bulk and finished goods standards, ensuring compliance with established procedures and compendia.
  • Perform instrumental and wet chemistry tasks, operating laboratory equipment as required.
  • Conduct general maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, troubleshooting instrumentation and method problems.
  • Interpret and document test results, calculations, and observations, completing comprehensive reports as needed.
  • Coordinate out-of-spec analytical test results, investigating and completing OOS Analytical Test reports.
  • Initiate NCRs for non-conforming materials, distributing to concerned personnel and contacting suppliers as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of test results, collecting data for future specs establishment and initiating specs development/modification.
  • Monitor inventory of lab supplies and reagents, ensuring adequate stock for analysis and instrument maintenance.
  • Perform compatibility testing of new formulations and packaging components.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, SOPs, GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • BSc in Chemistry (preferable)
  • Excellent computer skills, with a good knowledge of Excel
  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently or within a team environment
  • Exercise good judgment in manufacturing decisions
