About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Vancouver Vacation Home. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our vacation homes are clean, comfortable, and ready for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, walking.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, patience, honesty.
  • Experience: Will train.
