Job Summary

River Rock Casino Resort is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Houseperson. Under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, this role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all hotel areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, including guest rooms, hallways, meeting rooms, and public spaces.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Transport clean and soiled linens, deliver housekeeping supplies, and maintain housekeeping storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other departments, including Front Desk, Food and Beverage, and Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experiences.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Availability: Available to work up to 40 hours per week in a variety of shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months of housekeeping or janitorial experience.
  • Skills: Energetic, highly motivated, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check and maintain a high level of customer service.
