Landscape Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Labourer to join our team at Brar Fencing & Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our outdoor team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, removing litter and garbage, and performing various other tasks related to lawn care and landscaping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and repairing and maintaining equipment.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and remove litter and garbage to keep our outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including dust, heat, and physical demands.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Reliability, dependability, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
