Position Overview

The LVL and Plywood Technical Expert will report directly to the Head of Technical Sales Support. This role is primarily focused on conducting technical assessments and mill evaluations at client facilities, offering technological support to the sales and quotation teams, and engaging in production enhancement projects. The position is based in the Raute Delta office and requires flexibility for travel to client sites as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop technical assessments and conduct mill evaluations at client facilities.
  • Provide technological and technical assistance to the sales and quotation teams.
  • Design and optimize mill layouts and material flow processes.
  • Engage in production enhancement initiatives at client facilities.
  • Support the ramp-up of production lines and modernization efforts.
  • Participate in research and development projects.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Engineering or a Master of Science in machine design, automation, or wood processing technology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in development or management roles within a plywood, veneer, or LVL manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites both locally and internationally.
  • A valid passport and driver's license are required.
