As a crucial member of the Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, installation, and troubleshooting of various industrial machinery, systems, and components, both within and outside the facility. Key Responsibilities:

· Utilize hand and power tools, including hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, as well as precision measurement tools and electronic testing devices.

· Ensure the safe operation of machinery, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and components.

· Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.

· Diagnose equipment issues through observation and the use of precision measuring and testing instruments.

· Conduct boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing, document results in logbooks or computer systems, and make necessary chemical adjustments as needed.

· Perform daily and weekly safety inspections on boilers and carry out necessary repairs.

· Implement Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space procedures as appropriate.

· Record and analyze utility meter readings and take corrective actions when necessary.

· Conduct daily and weekly safety checks on locations/systems and follow up to address any concerns.

· Inspect motors, belts, fluid levels, replace filters, and execute other maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures.

· Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other equipment components following work procedures and technical manuals.

· Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System for all repair and preventive maintenance activities.

· Respond to emergency alarms and assist other maintenance personnel with both emergency and non-emergency repairs.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Desired Skills and Experience:

High school diploma and/or GED is required. A two-year technical degree in a relevant field is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. A valid non-commercial driver's license and a clean driving record are required. Familiarity with maintenance equipment is essential. A minimum of 6 months of experience in repairing industrial processing equipment in a production setting is required. Relevant military experience will be considered. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is necessary. Proficiency in reading and understanding maintenance literature in English is required. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office are necessary. Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures is required. Prior welding experience, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing, is preferred. Experience with formal safety programs is preferred. Familiarity with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred. HVAC experience and knowledge of boilers are preferred. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs is required. Willingness to work overtime as needed is required.
