About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our UniFirst team. As a Technical Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of industrial equipment, systems, and components. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments to equipment and systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Document and record maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and tests.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two-year technical degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and systems.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and blueprints.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of maintenance management software.
