Position Overview
What is the opportunity?
As an Insolvency Specialist, you will collaborate with departmental leaders within the Recoveries and Insolvency divisions to oversee daily operational tasks. Your responsibilities will include analyzing daily reports, preparing Risk Reports, and serving as a key contact for Insolvency Officers and external vendors. You will leverage your analytical and problem-solving abilities alongside delegated authorities to negotiate resolutions for delinquent, insolvent, and at-risk credit products, while safeguarding the financial integrity and reputation of the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance both personal and team efficiency and quality to meet established Client Service Commitments (CSC's) and/or Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
- Utilize extensive knowledge of various RBC products, processes, and services to educate team members on complex transactions and investigations.
- Adhere to RBC's operational risk policies, procedures, and standards diligently.
- Foster a positive and productive work atmosphere through effective communication and behavior.
- Engage collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and service partners.
- Contribute to team success by sharing insights, best practices, and building upon ideas from others.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years in recovery and insolvency-related roles.
- In-depth understanding of RBC products, processes, and services.
- Proficient in Collection Highway and Bankruptcy Highway systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to performance, productivity, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to engage with internal and external partners.
- Ability to comprehend complex concepts and regulatory compliance related to Collections and Insolvency.
- Flexibility to work various shifts within standard business hours.
