**Job Summary**

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish. This is a permanent, full-time/part-time and short-term/locum opportunity that offers a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care as an Emergency Medicine Physician

Work Environment:

The Emergency Department at St. Martha's Regional Hospital is a Level 2 facility with 8 beds and an observation area with 15 beds. The hospital serves a population of nearly 60,000 from Antigonish, Guysborough, and surrounding communities.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
  • Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and advanced Airway training
