Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at SOL & MAR CONTRACTING INC.

Job Summary:

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for completing various tasks related to concrete finishing, including filling hollows, removing spots, and imparting desired finishes to concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Physically demanding work environment
